【原文】

子曰：「三年學，不至於穀（1），不易得也。」

【英文】

The Master said, “It is not easy to find a man who can study for three years without touching on the matter of salary.”

【注釋】

（1）不至於穀，穀，俸祿。

【翻譯】

孔子說：「經過三年長久的學習，而心不在於作官求取俸祿的，這種人不容易得到了。」

【主旨】人從對象言之德行，不圖榖祿之德
