【原文】

子曰：「不在其位（1），不謀（2）其政（3）。」

【英文】

The Master said, “Do not concern yourself with matters of governmentunless they are the responsibility of the office you are in.”

【注釋】

（1）位，官位、職位。

（2）謀，參與計畫。

（3）政，指政事。

【翻譯】

孔子說：「不在那個職位上，就不要參與計畫那個職位上的政事。」

【主旨】人從對象言之德行，不謀位政之德。
