【原文】

子曰：「君子喻（1）於義，小人喻於利。」

【英文】

The Master said, “The gentleman is versed in what is moral. The small man is versed in what is profitable.”

【注釋】

（1）喻，通曉。

【翻譯】

孔子說：「君子懂得的是義，小人懂得的是利。」

【主旨】君子與其存在，君子面對外在存在的人與事，君子在處世中面對人與物之對錯好壞賢否。
