【原文】

葉公問政。子曰：「近者說，遠者來（1）。」

【英文】

The Governor of She asked about government. The Master said, “Ensure that those who are near are pleased and those who are far away are  attracted.”

【注釋】

（1）近者說遠者來，被其澤則說，聞其風則來。

【翻譯】

葉公問為政的道理。孔子說：「使鄰近的人民歡悅，遠方的人民來歸附。」

【主旨】言行仁政，能使近者悅，遠者來歸。
